This piece is about the observer effect on the Art. With the advent of post-modern philosophy, the observer's perspective has become much more important, almost to the point where it overtakes the artist's original intent. We no longer look at art pieces and try to discern what the artists were trying to say (since that is ultimately is impossible) but instead look at art to see what we personally can understand and work from there. From this perspective, the observer actually becomes the artist and adds to the piece through his interpretation or negative reaction to someone else's interpretation.

This was a really creepy tower that Dan and I decided to explore when we bike rode to Boulder last June. It was called "The Tower of Memories" and basically was a huge Masonic Crypt surrounded by a cemetary. This looked the hall where they perform the actual funerals or something. The entire place had some hardcore bad vibes...

This was a train that I saw when Dan, Andrew and I went to explore the garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. I took about 5 pics of the train from our car on the way and then photoshopped them together to create this.

This was about ten minutes after the previous one.

This one was actually taken around noon if I remember correctly. Note all the brownish pollutionary colors near the horizon. Also, there is a mysterious beam of darkness and shadow shooting from the right corner into the sky.


This is another post-Sunset panorama which shows the light of the sun reflecting off of very high altitude clouds that haven't been overtaken by darkness.

While I certainly don't believe that Obama is the anti-christ, I have met people who do, and I thought it would make a compelling image. Also seeing his face plastered everywhere made me start to wonder if he is trying to be the next Stalin or something. (For the record, I didn't vote for McCain)
